Francesca Piantadosi is an award winning playwright from Portland, Oregon. She has been the recipient of the Oregon Literary Fellowship for Drama〔(literaryarts.org )〕 and the Portland Civic Theatre Guild Fellowship For Theatrical Excellence.〔()〕 She has also been a finalist for the Rosenthal New Play Prize〔(Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park )〕 and PlayLabs (Playwright's Center Minneapolis).〔(The Playwrights Center ) 〕 She was the winner of The Lakewood Theatre New Play Competition〔(La Amistad Foundation ) 〕 and the Mercury Rising Playwriting Competition.〔(Mercury Players Theater ) 〕 Piantadosi won a women's work residency at New Perspectives Theatre in New York and has been commissioned by such places as Portland Center Stage〔(Portland Center Stage ) 〕 Proving Ground (Salt Lake City) and Integrity Productions.〔(Integrity Productions ) 〕 She has been selected to participate in the Seven Devil’s Playwriting Conference〔(Seven Devils Playwright Conference ) 〕 and the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive.
